The kitchen /dinning room was well supplied and not locked up at night so could be used early in the morning as needed, and breakfast was available.

Right value for money.
Secure (...quite secire, at least) parking for bicicles and motorbikes, that is very important for every owner.

Hi, I enjoyd my staying in this hostel. They hhelped me a lot to find an other accomodation.

The kitchen/communal area was friendly, clean and tidy, although perhaps a sofa would be really good for watching the TV or DVDs, rather than just chairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hostel was ideally located for seeing all of Thurso, and for being close to the train station and bus stops.

Fantastic homely kitchen/ communal area with good facilities such as internet, TV, DVD+Videos, range of books and dvds, plenty of breakfast food + drink to help yourself to.
Rooms had nice character with en suite bathroom (toilet+shower) all very clean. Bed sheets already on beds and very comfortable.
Good location for seafront, Thurso town and Scrabster ferry port to Orkney Islands.
