Liked: The location has incredible views over the loch and up the hills. A very peaceful place too.

Disliked: Not having a car, the place is a bit hard to reach.

Liked: The cleanest, most comfortable hostel I have ever stayed in. Because of its generally older clientele, it also maintains a more respectful culture--no drunk people waking you up at 2am. It's quiet, but homey and friendly. The staff knows the area and is so kind and helpful--one staff member lent me her bike to get to a hiking trail that was beyond reasonable walking distance as I didn't have a car.

Liked: Very friendly staff, clean room, great size kitchen, very well equipped. Superb location, right by the loch.

Liked: Staff was helpful and the location great,but, it is VERY far from Shiel Bridge: it is at Ratagan, and it's about 2 miles far from the bus stop. The ONLY bus available reach the hostel just once a day, and leaves it once another.There are no shops in ratagan, but they sell some basilar food (that's not very good)
