Liked: Good staff, clean, friendly atmosphere and loads of handy/free stuff in the kitchen. Free wifi, optional breakfast.

Disliked: Only one bathroom room. This was mixed which I didn't mind, but the dorms were male/female.... which really seemspointless. No lockers in the room or hostel. Had to lock stuff up at reception which was annoying because you had to hasel reception each time you wanted to use it. Good place, but over priced.

Liked: Great location, the Scottish guy on reception was really nice and helpfull (sorry I didn't get his name, it makes a pleasant change to see a local working in a hostel) car park at rear was good but I had to park on street but it was a quiet road, so no problems. When I arrived there appeared to be someone in my bed and as the hostel was fully booked I was upgraded to a twin ensuite room which was a pleasant surprise, the room was a little dated but very clean and cumfy bed. Breakfast was nice £1.90 all in. Decent pub and food accross road at Makays but there seemed to be loads of nice places to eat all around and a few pubs with music, sport etc. Free wi-fi was good.

Liked: Very good value for money and just what we needed Overall friendliness and helpfulness of staff was excellent

Disliked: At the time of our stay some work was being undertaken on the property to modernise and decorate it.

Liked: Friendly staff.

Disliked: Not many toilets and hence a big congestion in mornings, moreover we cant check-in before 6 PM but we can stay in Lounge.

Disliked: Rooms and carpets were a little tired. Not all the showers worked all the time.

Disliked: The kitchen is too small for so many people, so it´s difficult to cook. In the morning we had to wait quiet a long time for space at the sink, so that we could wash the dishes.

Liked: pitlochry is a beautiful town et the hostel is very nice and the atmosphere is so good for family. The staff was plaisant and room very beautiful.From Pitlochry, you can go to see loch.Sorry, I don't speack english very well, but I am happy to take this hostel... nothing bad about it.

Liked: This is a larger hostel. It has very friendly staff who are very helpful. Also has an excellent location. Having a dining room and kitchen which are in separate places is awkward though as you have to constantly carry cups and plates through from one to the other. But otherwise it is a good hostel.

Liked: It was just for a stop between Newcastle and the Isle of Skye. It was really nice and probably is worth another with but to visit the Perthshire!We met a nice familial group there and had a good time :) !

Liked: The staff was very nice and helpness. For the location, it's good if you love walks and I advice to see Glen Lyon, at only 30min by car from the hostel.
