About Wester Caputh Steading
Nearby there is excellent walking, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching, canoeing & rafting and there are 5 castles and 4 distilleries within an hour's drive.
A large sitting/dining/kitchen area opens onto a sunny outside terrace.
There is a wood-burning stove (logs supplied) and the kitchen is well equipped for self-cateing.
Accommodation is in 5 separate bedrooms: 2 rooms with 2 bunks; 1 room with 2 bunks + double fold-out bed; 1 room with 4 bunks; and 1 room with 6 bunks. Beds have duvets and are made up with clean linen .
Outside: a grassy area surrounds the hostel, complete with picnic tables and BBQs.
We are in a rural location - beside the River Tay (largest volume river in the UK) and set amongst beautiful scenery and large trees. We are 10 miles north of the City of Perth and 4 miles east of the historic town of Dunkeld.
