‘Newtonmore,’ in the Cairngorms National Park and the Highlands of Scotland, is the perfect base for outdoor activities, relaxing or touring.
Situated at the rear of Craigellachie House, our purpose built hostel has 3 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 1- (2 rooms of 4 and 1 room of 2.) However, any of the three rooms can be booked as a private room for two (or more) There are 3 showers, 3 toilets, a drying room, lots of hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, electric central heating and a lounge/dining area with a wood burning stove.
We have WiFi in all rooms in the hostel. Credit/Debit cards are not accepted at the hostel, pay using cash or cheque when you arrive.
Our hostel is designed for those who come to Scotland for a quiet peaceful holiday. We are a Visit Scotland 3* graded Hostel.
Remember this is a small hostel, we don't have a 'reception' and we may be out for a while. If this happens check the notice on the door, find your bed and make yourself comfortable. Fear not, we will catch up with you later on.
