Smithy Andrews

Back in the 18th Century numbers 31-35 Main Street were a Blacksmiths Forge and Stables. The twin cottages 33-35 have been The Wee Hoosie B & B for 4years but now we have transformed number 31 from a sadly neglected garage to a magic space with many fascinating features of its life as a forge!

Our unique Wee Hoosie B&B has been much loved for its warm welcome and imaginative décor and we have recreated these features in our new Hostel. We look forward to welcoming you to Smithy Andrews.

The B&B accomodation consists of a a Family room with private bathroom which sleeps four people, and a seprate Private Double room with bathroom.

A huge breakfast can be cooked for you for an additional £5. We also provide Welcome trays for £2.50 which are great upon arrival or for an early snack or if you must leave early for the airport. The airport is only 3 minutes by taxi (or 25 minutes if you prefer to walk).

The hostel accommodation consists of a mix of bunk beds and bed settees to create a relaxing atmosphere. At one end there is a kitchen and breakfast bar and at the other a secluded dining /quiet area. At the rear of the property are a fully equipped bathroom and drying facilities whilst the Stable Door gives access to a large garden for sunny days.
