Liked: this is one of the best hostels i have stayed before.the location is perfect for walkers along great glen way as this hostel is located about 4 miles north to invermoriston. this will cut the time you need for the walk to drumnadrochit by about 1.5-2 hours. you can use this time to explore the Urquhart Castle when you reach drumnadrochit. its a shame that i did not spend more time in this hostel and exploit its location just right beside Loch Ness. it has a nice, antique feeling dining hall/common room.

Disliked: it would be nice to have power sockets in the rooms for phone charging.

Liked: Fantastic Location - our room overlooked the Loch. Just awesome. Also dining room overlooked the Loch.

Disliked: Very little information given when we checked in about the hostel. We were just given the key to our room.

Liked: It was a very peaceful experience. It is a bit removed from everything, but that's what I was seeking. Make a note to visit the market on your way in to stock up on groceries. Buses run fairly often, so that is handy. Amazing hiking and wonderful views of Loch Ness from your room window. I would without a doubt stay at this hostel again.

Liked: It is in the middle of nowhere just in front ot the lack, without TV, you are completly away from everything, it's great. Besides there is a very friendly atmosphere there... i just want to go back !!!!!
