Liked: Great location, ideal base for walking Ben Lomond

Disliked: Don't know where they all had gone, but a definit shortage of forks in the kitchen, when a group of people were eating at the same time.

Liked: The location is wonderful with spectacular views across the loch. Lots of good outdoor space. The lounge area is huge and very comfortable. I was also very impressed with the self catering facilities. I intend to come back with lots of family members to enjoy quality time together in a great friendly atmosphere.

Disliked: The driveway up to the hostel was very hazardous due to the many large potholes. My old car took a bit of a beating.

Liked: The place is brilliant. The building is nicely desinged. The toilets were very clean.

Disliked: The showers were ok, the kind you need to hold the tap with one hand all time! My room was smelly. I dont know because of the room itself or because of the roommates' stuff.

Liked: not much because I am not a walker and had to spend time sitting in the Hotel Lounge for the 5 hours that I was not allowed in the Hostel and I am not a drinker and this cost me un necessary money

Liked: Excellently maintained. One of the cleanest hostels I've stayed in and this was on a Saturday night when it was fully booked. Location cannot be beaten in terms of beauty and remoteness. Seems a good destination for families too.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: Beautiful building

Disliked: you get kicked out between 10.00 and 15.00. No change to sleep in, or decide to go swimming at 12.00 or so.

Liked: Great place right next to Loch Lomond. Tidy and nice hostel.

Disliked: The staff didn't inform us that we had to check out before 10 am and leave the hostel at 10.30 am.

Liked: The hostel is situated on the banks of Loch Lomond and right next to Ben Lomond and the view of the Loch from the sitting room is amazing!

Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.

Liked: It was a really great experience for me to stay here. Its like I have regenuated myself in this place.

Disliked: The showers for boys are very less infact only one. There should be more to accomodate many people at once.

Liked: Hostel warm and good value for money. Brilliant big living room with large sofas - great after a day walking. Right on loch lomond so perfect for swimming or just enjoying the view

Disliked: female showers were downstairs and at the otehr side of the hostel from our room, and only one toilet on our floor so a lot of waiting around

Liked: Beautiful location right on the banks of Loch Lomond. Good location for hiking.

Disliked: You need a car to access it as it is off the beaten track (not necessarily a disklike but something to consider)

Disliked: The heating was on, right up, till 3 am and therefore it was impossible to sleep.

Liked: Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Liked that you coould order dinner etc

Disliked: Rooms just a bit cramped, bunk beds not ideal for all groups of people

Liked: The location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, pretty hard to find, but very beautiful though. The staff is helpful and pleasant.

Disliked: Only few people were staying over there at the time. As it is a big hoqtel, it ain't no really familiar
