Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff. Flexible as well. Hostel very colourful, a bit old but has very special atmosphere. There are few "hostel cats" running through the corridors and even though I'm not a cat fan I have to admit that I loved this place. We slept in the caravan. Some warm clothes or sleeping bag necessary, as the linen provided might not be enough warm. Great place to stay, just few km after bridge to Skye.

Liked: Free tea, coffee and chocolate.Clean showers.Good breakfast for 2 pounds.Common areas are cosy, kitchen has all you need.Thumbs down for reception and check in only after 5pm.Thumbs up for 'if you help cleaning for 2 hours you get a free night'.

Liked: We booked 2 rooms with views. The rooms were in the last floor and we have 2 showers and a toilet in the same floor, so practically we didn't share them with other people. The views are nice. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Definitely a nice place to stay.

Liked: good starting point to explore isle of skye.i slept in the caravan, which was a cool place but depending on the weather (i had awesome weather)i had a good time there with the backpakers i met.i'm not sure, but it seemed the sheets were not changed.the staff was not very helpful to figure out how to spot the island.

Liked: Sleeping in a star wars themed caravan. It was really good fun, but probably would have been less so, had it been raining, since you need to enter the main building for toilets etc.

Liked: A real backpackers paradise in a really strange little town with some good pubs!! The Caravan was actually pretty damn cool, more like a dorm room in the garden...totally recommend.
