Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. My friends stayed with me one night and since they left i have been adopted by members of staff and made to feel completely at home.

Disliked: I didnt have matching pillow cases for the first night!! And the staff keep trying to convince me to stay haha =)

Liked: Near to the bus station and the Castle Moil.

Disliked: 1. Poor location: the place is too far away from Portree, from which one can easily get to main attractions on Skye. 2. Bad shower facilities. And electricity had been down for several times in the kitchen. 3. Our bedroom is not warm enough.

Liked: The isyle of skye is enchanting so to get out a back pack was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, kind and made you feel like you were at home and it was a wonderful experience for me....

Disliked: For the price no complaints at all.

Liked: Great kitchen, views, fireplace, bed (caravan is a heated dorm outside... tops), walks, staff and is super clean.

Disliked: Disliked the pub next door so take advantage of the lounge and bring wine.

Liked: Warm and cosy, even out in the caravan. Great friendly and welcoming staff. And free coffee/tea/hot choc on offer.

Disliked: Shower cubicles just a bit of a pain to use being so small, but could be worse..The water is nice and hot!

Liked: friendly staff, spacious room and comfy bed, free tea/coffee/chocolate, real fire in the lounge.

Disliked: The sink is too small in the first floor toilet.

Liked: Very cosy. Very nice people. Very good tips where to get and how to get there. Very friendly staff. Coffee, tea and especially chocolate for free......all in all one of the best places I ever stayed.

Disliked: No possibility to put valuable staff in for example a locker.

Liked: Quite simply one of the best hostels i have ever stayed at. the staff were better than amazing and soo soo friendly, The Facilities were second to none and location brilliant. Cannot rave enough aboust how great the Staff are!! Definitely the best hostel in Skye if not Scotland!!!!!

Liked: The staff @ Skye were some of the best people i have ever met...they were fun, friendly and so helpful, I highly recommend this Hostel to anyone heading to Skye....Wicked!!

Liked: The atmosphere was really great! Good quality of rooms, especially common areas, Plenty of social games provided. The best hostel ever :)

Liked: OMG it's a tiny heaven, Dorm beds are named as flowers and i got daffodil which i love. Staff's are mind blowing, Beck and Maddy are the pillars of Skye bacpackers, Loved the stay and already planning for a long stay next summer. Staff are fun, helpful and adorable.... It's a shame that i failed to attend the halloween party organised by the staff, especially even after Beck's invite. Sorry XXX

Liked: Helpful and friendly staffs! The hostel is pretty small so it feels like home :)

Disliked: The caravan is definitely not properly insulated. One heater is not enough. I have to use two duvets at night.

Liked: its in a good position to explore skye if you have a car. staff were helpfull too but you have to ask.

Disliked: this town is a little dull and the showers were very basic.

Liked: The caravan is great value for money. Hostel had a great, relaxed atmosphere with a fireplace in the lounge room and a very functional kitchen. A book to share recipes in was nice extra touch.

Disliked: It was very dark outside getting from the caravan to the toilet or main hostel building. Some exterior (maybe sensor lights) would really help.

Liked: This place is kind of special.. You come in and you just feel to be welcomed.. Eventhough we slept in the middle of September in a caravan, it was really warm and no problem at all that you could not lock it. The kitchen is clean and it's really nice to have a free hot chocolate after a long windy tripp through the island. It is really close to the Skye Bridge that you are in 10 min (by car) on the main motorway again. I can only recommand it

Disliked: I didn't like that there were only less showers for all the people.. and sometimes the flush of the toilett doesn't work..

Liked: Lots of information and large maps in the kitchen, tips on local walks, bus and train information. Also the place was very cozy, with family atmosphere and nice furnishing.

Disliked: The hostel, though located on a very nice spot with sea view, is couple of miles from Kyle of Lochalsh, where the trains terminate. Local bus or taxi are therefore almost inevitable.
