Liked: It was clean.

Disliked: Overpriced, blandly decorated, exorbitant charges for basic things ie towels, breakfast, poor quality beds

Liked: The helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the whole place, the stunning views.

Disliked: SYHA doesn't stand out for atmosphere and cozyness, and Lochranza isn't an exception. Breakfast has no value for money, but Lochranza offers just no alternatives.

Liked: Really beautifully remodeled, so everything is new and clean and the common areas are bright and spacious. Great location as the bus drives right past it, and it's right across from the Lochranza castle--very cool!

Disliked: Not much!

Liked: Apart from location, everything else was perfect. The toilets were clean and spacious. The rooms and beds were clean and looked pretty new. Kitchen equipment and utensils were clean and varied! (: The hostel's location was perfect for viewing animals at close proximity.

Disliked: Location was quite inaccessible because of the ~50 min journey from Brodick Ferry Terminal.
