Liked: The best hostel in Inverness:central location,easygoing staff,warm rooms,friendly atmosphere. I really recommend it!

Liked: We loved our short stay at Bazpackers. The staff were really friendly and helpful and always made an effort to chat to us. The hostel was small, but very cosy and had quite modern facilities. The location of the hostel made it really easy to get around, as it was an easy 10 minute walk from the bus and train stations and only 5 minutes from the city centre. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Liked: Very cute wee hostel, had a great meal locally at one of the restaurant they recommended and a great nights sleep in a comfy bed! Lounge was super cosy with a fire. Thanks again!

Liked: Everything! This hostel is fantastic!

Disliked: Nothing! If I really had to add something, it would be that the kitchen/common room was locked up during the night.

Liked: Great location, easy to find. A quaint and cute Scottish house tucked on the side of the hill close to the castle, with great views.

Disliked: It was small, would be cramped during busier travel months. No breakfast included. The owner is the only one running the hostel, and he seems to share the same facilities of his guests, which can be slightly awkward.

Liked: The man who checked me in was very friendly & helpful, handed out maps, bus timetables. Free wi-fi.

Disliked: The cleaning person didn't lock the room when they left one day (I was the only one staying in the room). Everything else was great though.

Liked: Everything - owner and staff super friendly, close to castle, nice fire/common room, free tea/coffee, good beds etc.

Disliked: Nothing. Only please put a directions sketch on your webpage - it was difficult to find the place when I arrived at night. For future travellers, follow the directions as for the castle, it's on the road that goes up the hill past the castle.

Liked: I particularly liked that the hostel was quiet at night, as mentioned in other reviews. It certainly seems to cater for the more cultured traveller rather than the party type, which suited me just fine. The roaring log fire in the living room was also very homely.

Liked: The staff could not have been more helpful. I was there for a race and I needed early access to the kitchen the staff on duty opened the kitchen at 5am which allowed me and all runners to have breakfast before the race! This is more than 5 stars service, this is real customer care. THANK YOU!

Liked: The common room is cosy and the view from the court is magnificent especially the night view.

Disliked: The bedroom is a little bit disappointing, looks not as attracting as its other places:)

Liked: the kichen is great and the atmosphere for the common room is good.

Disliked: i think compare to other hostel, this one is not that clear and there is no lock for the door, and the room is very narrow.
