14 April 2009	Customer review The hostel had a real character, it is quiet and peaceful, the common room has a nice open fire, when I was there the guests sat there and read books in silence. The rooms are good, a bit few shower/toilet facilities.	70%

10 March 2009	Lisa Clark Comfortable bed, great location, very quiet though -- but probably this was enhanced by the fact that we were the only people staying in our wing as it was low season -- only negatives: we stayed one night and the room was a bit cold; when we were given a quick tour it wasn't explained that we needed to turn on a radiator to warm up the room; there was also no hot water from the taps in the bathroom and kitchen -- freezing cold water instead! Also, the price advertised on the website was much cheaper as the website hadn't been updated, and when we originally contacted the hostel to book a room, they quoted a higher price and didn't offer to honour the website price -- still cheaper than a hotel, and we had a good night's sleep! Beware, not disabled-friendly as loads of stairs!	85%
