Liked: This was a great hostel. It was small, but in a cute and cozy way. The couple that run it are great! They are younger and have great advice to give when choosing anything from daytrips to restaurants to eat at. The location of the hostel could NOT be better. It is only about a five minute walk from the city centre, making it convenient, but just far enough to be away from any noise.

Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was that if you sleep on a lower bunk in a shared dorm, you can't even sit straight up without hitting your head on the top of the upper bunk. You have to slide in and out of bed sideways.

Liked: Kirsteen and Katherine were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. The hostel has a good atmosphere and is conducive to meeting people. The Castle Tavern next door is a great option too, knowing you can walk 20 metres and have a good night. Highly recommend Bazpackers if staying in Inverness.

Liked: A wonderful hostel, we didn't want to leave. Thanks to Kirsten for a warm welcome. It's a cosy homely hostel in a good location and we had gorgeous views to the river from the dorm window. Evenings can be spent playing games or the guitar by the fire in the lounge. Free wifi if you have your own pc and a well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds, the list goes on....

Liked: Our stay was short, but great - we were really happy to find the hostel so near to the end of Great Glen Way (because we arrived there rather tired ...). The room was fine as well as the rest of the house. Though it was fully booked, it was absolutely quiet at the night (it was the only hostel of our way where we could say that!) so that we had a good rest. And we could stay even after having checked out when we had to wait for our bus to Edinburgh and it was raining ... thanks!

Disliked: The common room was a bit small in the evening when some people wanted to eat at the same time. But that was not really a big problem, we could manage it by arrangement with the others.

Liked: Very cosy and friendly atmosphere, and I met some amazing people there. The location is great, too, especially the view out of the window (river, castle,...). And the kitchen was great! All in all a wonderfull stay!
