Liked: amazing place to stay. more like staying in a house than a hostel. quieter - definitly not a party place but still good to meet other people. great location & very clean!! loved it

Liked: It is right in front of the castle, very easy to find. The interior is really very very pretty, with the stone walls and so on. The fireplace in the common room gives me a lot of nice memories =) and the kitchen is very very well-equipped. The atmosphere is homely. Clean shower and rooms.

Disliked: Nothing! But if you don't like cat, you better think twice coz the owners keep a very lovely cat =)

Liked: It felt really nice. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Disliked: The room was not heated and we had a space heater to turn on ourselves which is great for the environment, but it was quite cold in the evenings.

Liked: The hostel was clean and had nice approachable staff. easy to walk in and out of town. Great location by the castle and a nice pub next door.

Disliked: The room was really hot over night, so much so that is was hard to sleep. Also the kitchen didn't open until 7.30 which for leaving early meant that you couldn't use it.

Liked: Absolutely sensational location, the Staff and facilities were fantastic and had a really great time! Definitely a great place to stay, walking distance to everything and warm and cozy environment!

Liked: Extremely friendly staff, very intimate and nice place to relax. Great location with awesome views, all facilities needed including an excellent kitchen and very nice common room. Very, very strongly recommended. Great value for money.

Disliked: Only criticism was that it was a touch cold, especially in the bathrooms, although I was visiting during a very cold winter and I'm sure they would have been warmed more had I requested, but it wasn't so cold as to warrant.

Liked: The living room and kitchen are so nice and warm.

Liked: Nice clean fresh smelling bedclothes.

Disliked: The fact we had to run downstairs to the communal toilets/showers which were in a smallish room. The light kept switching off in the bathroom/shower area after it had been on for a while......I had to get the soap rinsed off me in the dark until someone else came into use the bathroom.

Liked: Great living room and modern showers, close to the city centre

Disliked: Common areas closed after 11 p.m., no locks in the doors of the room

Liked: Very cute hostel right beside the Castle and within a five minute walk, or less, to everything else you could need/want. The common room is very cozy with a fireplace and comfortable couches and chairs. Very clean, helpful staff, and lockers in the room for luggage.

Liked: Friendly people, friendly vibe, friendly cat, clean, tidy, good location, nice fire, great kitchen - it was so good I stayed an extra night AND THEN came back for another night on my way back through.Like coming to a nice warm cosy home.

Disliked: It was a little cold in the downstairs bedroom - but hey, it's Scotland in late October.

Liked: Very cute and charming. Very clean, friendly, and great location. Had a great time drinking tea by the fireplace chatting with other travellers.

Disliked: Only thing would be to do some sort of breakfast. They had a kitchen, but a free breakfast is always a great perk

Liked: Friendly people. Cozy place. Very good location, right next to the castle. Excellent view of the river Ness from bedroom window. TV with DVD player.

Disliked: Could have been a bit cleaner, specially the kitchen and the cat area beneath the TV.
