Liked: Very comfortable room.

Disliked: Can be difficult to get a hold of staff. Had to wait 30 minutes to check in.

Liked: Great experience, more of a welcoming home environment than a hostel. Reasonable, clean, safe and comfortable.

Liked: Staff were very helpful. Separate private rooms section had its own kitchen. Good pub next door and short walk to main areas.

Disliked: We were staying in a private room which was located in the same building but via a separate entrance on the other side which meant we hardly saw anyone else. Common area in main section was quite small.

Liked: Great spot next to the castle with a view of the city. Rooms were spacious, comfortabel with lockers and free wifi in the whole place. Bathrooms were new and clean. Lounge room was nice and friendly.

Disliked: Very, very quiet, not for everyone. The showers were very weak, and a bit cold. No breakfast. 11pm curfew even in the lounge area.

Liked: Beds were clean and comfortable, shower facilities were excellent, private lockers, and great location. The kitchen and common room had a very home-y feel, and there's even a TV room! I'll definitely stay here again if I come back.

Liked: That it was in the center of the city just in front of the Castle and the information center. Walking distance from the center and major touristic sites

Disliked: The lack of parking and small shower room.

Liked: The surrounding scenery was nice and it was quiet at night, which is just the way I like things. It's close enough to the city centre and there are plenty of places around to eat. It's just a bonus that it's right next to the castle!

Disliked: There wasn't anything to dislike!

Liked: The kitchen was very nice and clean, and tidy at all times. The bathrooms were also always clean, and the showers worked great - always hot water! The rooms were perfectly ok, and the bed was really comfy.

Disliked: The bathroom was rather small, which made it a bit difficult to move around in there...

Liked: Really cute country-style hostel with a roaring fire and guest kitchen so you feel right at home. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, and lots of information available for tourists. It was very close to the centre of town as well.

Disliked: The hostel is on a main road so free parking was hard to find, and a long walk from the hostel!

Liked: Location is indeed great although my room was in the different building than the Hostel itself. But just round the corner.

Disliked: I stayed there just one night so I cannot say.

Liked: Beds were comfortable and the room was warm at night. Hot shower when you needed it. Pretty clean and safe over all. Location very good.

Disliked: Not realizing that there was a separate property I would be placed in. The ability to get wifi in the second property wasn´t that great.

Liked: I did like the hostel really much, whole hostel was nice and clean, I didn't use the kitchen or community room so I can't rate that, it just look really nice. Night was quiet and the room was warm so I had good night sleep. Location was really good.

Disliked: I don't have anything bad to say about the hostel.

Liked: Loved the eccentricity of an old building on 6 levels, the warm and friendly lounge, the backyard with an amazing view and the overall homely feel. The staff were very kindly and interested people without being invasive. It was a quiet time of year so I can't comment on how the services standup to a full house but when I visited it was like having the place almost to myself - wonderful.

Liked: It's a cosy heritage building with roaring fireplace and view of River Ness. Cat likes to take the best seat next to the fireplace. Would stay again.

Liked: It was a very comfortable, cozy place. The owners were very nice. Wish there were more people in the hostel to meet, but it's January so I kind of expected it to be slow. Fantastic location!

Disliked: the front door was never closed and you had to ring a bell for the staff, so you could go direktly from the front door to the rooms without getting noticed
