Liked: Because hostelbookers site is not family friendly and list children seperate from adults there was a mix up when a strange man was put in a room with my 2 young daughters and I, but happily the hostel mangeress worked this out.

Liked: The cat was great. What we didn't like; mold in the shower and on bedroom wall - extremely dangerous to health, shower should be scrubbed and disinfected asap. Staff not overly friendly.

Liked: The kitchen is really small so beware if you plan to cook.The rooms as a good size but can get very warm inside even with the windows open so you wont need a heavy blanket.

Liked: I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Inverness. The location is fantastic - right opposite the castle with a river view from majority of rooms. Very clean rooms and bathroom, cozy common room with well equipped kitchen and back garden to enjoy on sunny days. Extremely friendly staff. The best hostel experience I've ever had!

Liked: all my friends and I like the outside environment a lot, especially facing the castle. This is also one of the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed. I left something behind but the staff helped me to find and promised to send it back to me in a very short notice. Highly recommended hostel for all the backpackers

Liked: we had an excellent view from our window of the river & castle. The location was great & the shower room downstairs was top notch. The lady cleaner who booked us in was very helpful as we arrived too early, in fact all the staff were the friendliest i've ever come across in a hostel.

Liked: The best thing is the location. It is very close to the city center and it was very easy to find. The staff was very friendly and receptive. The room was very comfortable and clean, the same with the toilet.
