An absolutely fabulous location in the Scottish Highlands. Off the track, and that makes it so luringly nice. The owner, Steve's affability is infectous. Food is also good, though they can get much better. The facilities are very good. A nice cosy bar which is still coal heated. In sum, a fantastic getaway. Just remember to spend at least 2 days there.

Location was awesome, Staff are very nice and helpful and met lots of people while staying there, Oh and the mega huge tv!

There was no hot water at 8am in a showere room that had a broken shower.

I think this hostel is good size for backpackers who travel alone because I felt it athome.

It was very convenient i.e. near bus station. I am 60 and this was my first stay in a hostel but apart from rather uncomfortable pillows, I was satisfied with the service and would certainly use a hostel again. I'm afraid I don't know about meeting people and partying!
