Liked: The living room was nice and the staff and the guests were friendly.

Disliked: it was too small, specially the kitchen. There was no cutlery for everybody. The toilets and showers were quite dirty. The bedrooms were too small.

Liked: A very easygoing place, great atmosphere. Very nice lounge!! Dorms were tidy and beds extremely comfy.

Disliked: If something has to be said, it was maybe a little bit shabby but in a sort of homely way.

Liked: Friendly staff.

Disliked: Somebody should buy a screwdriver and carefully tighten every screw in the building, especially in beds because they are very noisy. Kitchen could be open before 8 am.

Liked: The place was well kept both inside and out. Close access to buses.

Liked: Hostel was OK, working showers and nice kitchen. Location was great.

Disliked: The room was a bit untidy and the reception could have been more welcoming.

Liked: Good location, just right beside the bus station. Near enough to the city center, river ness and store. They didn't provide free breakfast but they provides free coffee and tea.

Disliked: Nothing except one messy long stay roomate.

Liked: very convenient to the bus station and walking around the town is possible. Very close to supermarkets and cooking is possible--> Save$$ There is also 20 % discount if you stayed at cowgate (edinburgh).

Disliked: toilets and showers are limited and are shared among a lot of people on the same level. The room might be a little small so long stay might not be comfortable

Liked: really easy to find the hostel from the train station. Well indicated on the webpage

Liked: lounge room open all night, just a short walk to the river, big store opposite the hostel and car park next to it.

Disliked: thin walls. you don't want to go sleep in first. showers a little bit old,but it was ok.

Liked: very helpful staff. bathrooms were kept clean.

Disliked: there were many people living there so long. it made me uncomfortable in the common room or kitchen. its not "tourist" hostel exactly.

Liked: good kitchen and lounge room, friendly staff, pub crawl, hostelbookers double booked us but the staff sorted it out :)

Disliked: no internet...some random slept in my friends bed...
