Liked: The staff and the other guests all seemed friendly. The hostel had a nice living-room type area that I enjoyed sitting in, and I appreciated the free coffee/tea/cocoa.

Liked: simle, clean, cheap. and excellent beds.But would have been better if it had more Power sockets. we had to struggle to put our laptop, camcoders, and mobile for charging.

Liked: It was in a beautiful stone building on a very nice street. Lots of activites and things to do in the area were advertised and it had a very large kitchen and rec room.

Liked: The room is small and old, making me feel uncomfortable with that. And the shower is not good. But the view from the window is nice. You can see Loch Ness River from the window!

Liked: The atmosphere was fantastic. This is the reason I stay in hostels and I more than enjoyed my stay at Inverness Student Hotel. The breakfast was very good and good value. The range of utensils in the kitchen (i.e. cooking oil, spices, kitchen paper) was better than most. Good entertainment, guitar etc. Excellent decoration and information on walls. I stayed in 8 hostels along the Great Glen and this was actually my favourite.
