Liked: Very bright and cheerful corridors with a lot of hand drawn posters. Nice common room.

Disliked: Showers didn't work well (water pressure, hot and cold water). One was out of order and another had lights that were not working. Considering there were only four showers, this proved a long wait. Room door didn't lock properly so not very secure. Insufficient power points located around the hostel, as well as inconveniently located. (three power points in an eight-bedded room. one was too high up to charge any electronic device and two were positioned beside one person's bed so the other people had to rely on the generosity of that person to use those power points.

Liked: Good shower and toilet facilities, never any queues. Absolutely bang in the city centre. Always clean.

Disliked: Nowhere to park and no information on local parking either in advance or in the hostel.

Liked: Good place and good value.Kitchen,toilet and showers are fine,not like what some others described.

Disliked: liners are not clean and its cold.

Liked: Good location, cheap enough but you really do get what you pay for.

Disliked: Staff was either unfriendly or friendly and clueless. Everything in the kitchen was filthy. Our bed sheets and pillow cases were definitely not changed. We were only given a sleep sheet. Some of the other guests were a bit sketchy and unfriendly...? It was fine enough for two nights, but I will definitely not be staying here again.

Liked: no significant problem.

Disliked: room is not clean enough (floor is dirty) i arrive late and they charge me 5pound per hr which is not reasonable as the staff was not there waiting for us but need me to call and the staff arrive. some insects in the room makes us uncomfortable to stay

Liked: Friendly Staff, locatet in de citycenter

Disliked: Showers and toilets were quite dirty, the heating did not work, it was freezing!!

Liked: Only 10 pounds a night

Disliked: Dirty, creepy, poor lighting. Storage and laundry thrown in all corners. Lots of broken facilities, like shower and bathroom. Drunks pounding on doors at might trying to get in.

Liked: the location and price were very good.

Disliked: the staff were unfriendly, we had to ring a bell and wait to ask questions even when reception was supposed to be open. there are a lot of quite negative signs up threatening the people that stay with being kicked out for: not washing up, staying past ten, making noise etc etc.

Liked: It was cheap but wouldn't go back... rather pay more for something else. Close to grocery store and everything else in the small town.

Disliked: It just had a weird vibe to it that made it not so great. Not the best place to meet people (at least for me) because it seemed like everyone was at least 10 years older than we were... so definitely not a youth hostel. There was no heat and it was still cold in May. The showers were a bit difficult to figure out. The blinds in the room were crap and let in the sun that was up at 4 in the morning. Just not as great as other hostels.

Liked: I like that the hostel had a lounge and seemed to be cared for, ie. fresh paint and stuff like that.

Disliked: Lot's of stairs. But that seems to be the norm in Scotland.

Liked: Its convenient location in centre of Inverness, close to rail and bus stations, and easy access to shops. Also low price for stay at the hostel.

Disliked: Small size of common room and kitchen, which would be uncomfortable at busy times.

Disliked: - The room is extremely tiny - Guys live in other room always accosted, even knock and came to your room. Horrible!!!

Liked: the location, price, nice pictures, all in all quite okay, felt like a backpacker hostel if there would have been more backpackers =)

Disliked: too many working people who stayed in hostel for a long time and made them feel like home which meant that it felt like being in somebodys private living room who dictated the rules instead of an hostel, could be cleaner...

Liked: The receptionist guy is really very nice and helpful. He kindly arranged me to live with two other Chinese girls. Those pictures and the color tone in the hostel makes it really cozy. The kitchen is quite well equipped and the common room is cozy too. I spent an amazing night there and I would definitely come back!

Disliked: The heating is not working very well. And the limited reception on-duty time and the kitchen open time can be quite troublesome. But still, it is really a good hostel!
