Liked: Central location

Disliked: Toilets and bathrooms were dirty. Whilst having shower, I saw a worm!

Liked: Centrally located on High St in Inverness. Close to river Ness, the castle, Adventure store and good strolls along the river. Also conveniently located to 2 different CHEAP supermarkets. Really friendly staff and superb value for the price paid. And of course a great nook to meet people. Also close to good pubs: Smith & Jones and Johnny Foxes! Comfy dorms with wonderful views across the house-roofs.

Disliked: Could have been a little cleaner.

Liked: located in the center of the town

Disliked: door/hostel code wasnt changed - have been there 4 weeks ago, so not very secure. kitchen wasnt that clean and only a few dishes :/ Lockers in the Rooms arent safe. Kitchen closes something around 11pm but no one told us before

Disliked: Fleas in my bed, got bitten all over, filthy bathrooms, noisy all over.

Liked: very good price and 3 big toilet (but to share with other 60 people if you stay in a dorm)...location...the amazing sandwich shop in the same street

Disliked: no enough toilets, pay 1 £ for a "favour" to leave my backpack 1 hour longer after the check out

Liked: I like the thing that it has a kitchen.

Disliked: I didn´t like the enviroment and the security, that wasn´t enough

Liked: After checking in you get an access code, and so you can come back as late as you want. The hostel is right in the city centre - lots of shops and places to get some breakfast.

Disliked: The shower rooms were dirty, though usable.

Liked: close to train

Disliked: Had booked accommodation week or more in advance but when I arrived they didn't have a bed sheet for me. Had to sleep on plastic mattress with a pillow which was so thin and worn that when the pillow case was put on it tripled in size. Lounge room was also closed at 11pm so overflow beds could be used.

Disliked: The bathrooms weren't very clean.

Liked: Location in the city centre, close to everything worth seeing, bus/train stations and tourist information.

Disliked: A bit messy with reservations, they couldn't say which beds in our room was available because some people have put their stuff on more than one bed but we got a place in better room instead for the same price so everybody was happy.

Liked: Right in the middle of Inverness. Good security.

Disliked: Unhelpful staff, only 2 showers for 5 dorms, had to pay extra for lots of things (luggage storage, internet, breakfast, towel hire), hard to park cars in the area, and when i rang and asked the hostel where to leave the car, they directed us to where we could park overnight for free, but we had to go back at 8am to put money in the meter. Kitchen was pretty manky too.

Liked: Very unorganized place. Double booked our room twice and would randomly come in and take other people's stuff off their bed, because it "wasn't theirs" even though it was and the hostel just double booked. Most uncomfortable beds ever. Not the most fun place. Actually. It was pretty weird. Stay at Inverness Student Hostel. Such a better atmosphere.

Liked: cleanliness of the entire hostel, kitchen was good for cooking (lots of ovens/stovetops and space), liked the ensuite which was also very clean.
