By Bus:

Mid May to end of Sept there is a bus from Portree or Sligachan to the hostel. 2 x per day (morning and afternoon) – except Sundays.

By Train:

Nearest station Kyle or Mallaig.

By Car:

A87 towards Portree. Left at Sligachan on the A863 towards Dunvegan. Left at Drynoch on the B8009 towards Carbost and Talister Distillery. Left before Carbost on unclassified single track. Road to Glenbrittle – 7 miles from junction.

On Foot:

Walk over the Bealach from Sligachan – about 3.5 hours. Along the road from Carbost, 7 miles.

Please note that the hostel may be closed during the daytime from 10.30h to 17.00h and a nightly curfew applied. For details please contact the hostel directly.
