Liked: Beersbridge Lodge is in a great location and is great value for money.

Liked: good location. a lot of pubs, supermarkets near the hostel, large and clean rooms,

Disliked: mattress was a bit uncomfortable but okay for such less money, that we had paid

Liked: Really nice and helpful staff. Not too remote. Very clean and tidy!

Disliked: It was very cold. Heating was not working properly and plumbing was very loud.

Liked: We just had two amazing nights at the beersbridge lodge..The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, we had our own bath, TV, everything you need! It gives you thed feeling to stay at a hotel...continental breakfast included!Simply perfect!

Liked: located near the centre of glasgow, furnished nicely, staff was very kind and helpfull.

Liked: The price of the accommodation and the area was peace and quiet. Closes to the big park and at 15 min walk of the city centre. Good compromise.

Disliked: The room was a bit cold and the Bkf between 8 and 9 is short.

Liked: The hostel was in walking distance from both the west end and the city centre - although it's not smack bang in the middle of everything you don't have to go far to find Glasgow's attractions. The woman who greeted us and showed us to our room was very friendly and seemed nice. The room was an alright size with four clean towels for the two of us.

Disliked: The ensuite bathroom had a funny smell, which the women pointed out when we arrived: although she passed it off as a temporary smell, saying that the cleaner must have poured the mop bucket water down the toilet, it was still there when we got back to our room after our night out and the next morning, so I think the bathroom must be damp and she tried to pass it off as something else. The bathroom also didn't come with any sort of hand soap, which is minor but would have been nice after a long day travelling.

Liked: Locality and ease of access. Close to pubs and restaurants. Car parking at the door. The manager, Tracey, went out of her way to make us welcome.

Liked: It was more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel, we were pleasantly surprised with our room, as we expected something much simpler

Disliked: It was quite far - about half an hour walk from the city centre - this was not a problem with itself, but the indications how to get there placed on the site were insuffucient to say the least. We had to consult google maps (at a friendly hostel in the vicinity), and use the help of several people. That was an unpleasant beginnig, but probably the only one about this place

Liked: Guess it depends what you are interested in but as two young backpackers this was not suitable. Signs everywhere asking to be quiet and close doors quietly yet there were children running around yelling, screaming and music blasting (walls are paper thin). Showers weren't very good but was warm and had a bed.
