Enjoyed the walk up from bus station though steep ok if physicaly active person. close to all shops and airport shuttle handy at main bus depot.

The hostel is really close to the most famous streets in Glasgow (Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street, as well as Argyle Street)...the School of Modern Art is right on the corner and other atrractions can be reached ...George Square is close also, where the Sightseeing bus is available...the hostel is a hotel, actually, so the breakfast is great and the accommodation was very good (at least the one I stayed in....only for onw night)...I strongly recommend!

Best breakfast on our whole trip! We had a clean, large room that was nice and quiet. We wish we had booked for more than one night.

the location was superb even for the sight seeing bus it was only a 5 min walk to the stop and there i go around the city...

It's a bed and breakfast so breakfast is included in the room prices which is nice ... however it can get very noisy very early in the morning depending on which room you are in. Our room was located under the kitchen and across the hall from the laundry room, so we could hear them making breakfast at 5 in the morning, followed by staff listening to the radio and doing laundry across the hall as soon as breakfast was done.

The Victorian House Hotel is not really a hostel. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, the bathroom is great and the breakfast served was very good. There was lots of choice and it was well prepared. The front desk was very accomodating, providing an iron, a hairdryer and a converter for our electrical appliances. Victorian House Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from directly up the street from the bus station. It is a bit of a challenge pulling your suitcase up the street to the hotel as it is on a hill. I would definitely stay here again if the need arose.

You really have to ask for a bedroom upstairs... It's very noisy from 7 even during week end if you stay as I did, downstairs (near the laundry). Everything else was great !

The quiet location very near the centre, the friendly staff and Scottish breakfast! But you want to be on time, breakfast is served only till 8.45 on weekdays and 9.30 on Sat/Sun, which seemed pretty early for me being more used to the hours 7-10 (or even later) as we have in many parts of Europe. The breakfast is worth getting up early, though! :)

This hotel was old, but kept its charm. There where no rugs in the bathroom, thank good!. Large comfortable rooms with Television. Nice breakfast were the chef cooked your eggs the way you wanted them. No typical english breakfast. Something for everyone. Coffe of all sorts from a mashine. Sauchienhallstreet is the main street.Here you`ll find stores, restaurants, bars and discos.This street is only 3minits of walking away from the hotel. Taxi from airport 20pounds, bus 4pounds.
