Liked: staff very nice, good breakfast, rooms and facilities quite basic but if you do not expect too much, it's great!

Liked: The breakfast was amazing! you get great value for money. The location is great and the staff were so lovely.

Disliked: There is no where to self cater - but in saying that they let us use their microwave so it was great!

Liked: B&B accommodation at Hostel Prices!!! The room was spacious and well heated, soap and towels were provided and the full Scottish Breakfast was delicious. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The hall smelled vaguely of cigarettes, but as the smell did not filter into the room this was not a big issue.

Liked: Friendly nice staff, good value for money. Big room.

Disliked: Breakfast only until 9 am. No soap or towels in the shared bathrooms, although we had a sink, soap and towel in our room.

Liked: The location of this guest house is good

Disliked: I found the staff to be a little unfriendly. The cleanliness of the room was probably what made me dislike my experience. There was a horrible smell & the carpet was somehow wet at two places in the room. There was also a wooden cabinet that, thought useful, appeared old & on the verge of decomposing.

Liked: Nice Breakfast and toilets are kept clean at all times.

Disliked: the room I got was not the best room, it had some odour and lighting was too dim.

Liked: Good location, price, and full breakfast.

Disliked: Room smelled a little of smoke and was somewhat old and shabby, though comfortable enough.

Liked: Room had everything I needed - coffee, tv, wifi, clean bathroom handy and clean comfy bed. Staff were friendly and breakfast delicious.

Disliked: A lot of steps to my room and noisy from main road traffic but ok with the window closed.

Liked: The hostel was clean and it had nice breakfast. Good value for money.

Disliked: I just asked to use the pc of the hostel for 2 minutes to do my check in, because I couldn't find internet cafe there. The lady said to me to wait around an hour for the other receptionist. When the guy arrived, he refused to help me. I think that it was not so big deal to use the pc for 2 minutes.

Liked: It is very close to the centre.

Disliked: Because we checked out very early, we asked for a packed breakfast. But it was not possible - that's very annoying as breakfast is included in the price. A shame.

Liked: breakfast, friendly staff

Disliked: the online booking process... the manager/owner seems to be the only person who has access to check these bookings, leaving the front-desk staff clueless as to what rooms should be held and which should be booked by phone/walk-ins. I could have booked a standard double online for 40 pounds at the same time the front desk told me the only room available was an ensuite for 52!

Liked: The location, convenience, safety and breakfast. It is very good value for money.

Disliked: The TV was broken ( a museum piece) and I was unable to watch Wimbledon. The room had a stale smell and I had to keep the window open therefore, so there was a lot of traffic noise, Everything was clean though. They could also have provided a basic map of central Glasgow. Hostelbookers may have been promoted but I didn't see it.

Liked: Quite location close to the city center, friendly staff, clean facilities and massive breakfast included!

Disliked: Not a lot of amenities in the immediate vicinity.

Liked: I really enjoyed how conveniently the Guest House was located to restaurants and shops. The room was quiet and clean and I was pleasantly surprised to find a color TV in my room.

Disliked: I would've liked to have had a common area lounge in which to meet people.
