Liked: the staff was not nice except for the night staff ( the man was nice and calm). I think they werent nice because we are young travellers!!the room is nice and clean... a little bit old maybe but fine

Liked: Well, all other stuffs were OK only the location was not that preferable, at least for me. They're saying honestly that they're on the very end of the street but it was really, really at the end.. quite long walk from the train station. So I took a taxi this morning on the way to the Bus station which is on the other end of the street but it cost just 3,50pound. Except that, all the facilities and others are decent, ok, and nice breakfast!

Liked: This B&B was lovely and the owners were really nice and friendly. We were really happy with our stay there and we would recommend it without any hesitation!

Liked: McLays is very good value for the price. The building is old and a bit tired, but clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with choice of toast and cereals or full Scottish breakfast, plus tea coffee and juice. The location is just a 5 minute walk from the city centre.

Liked: Loved the friendly service and the price is amazing for the facilities! This is not a hostel, it's a guesthouse, so you'll get your own bathroom and a TV. Perfect for couples or groups of friends - I couldn't recommend more.

Liked: This was more like a hotel than anything. Private room with tv and tea service. Didn't have to wait for bathrooms. Full Scottish breakfast and cereal in the morning but the wait staff made adjustments on request. No complaints.

Liked: Very helpful staff. Excellent value for money, with lovely private rooms for the same price, if not less than, large dormed hostels. Great location, just off Sauchiehall St.

Liked: We needed a cheap bed for the night and a place to clean up, it served its purpose and pleasingly a bit more at a competitive cost. The building was a bit shabby and the quality of finish (particularly in our bathroom) was an insult to the building industry. But, the room was clean, warm and quiet. The comprehensive breakfast selection provided a good start to the day. I would recommend this property to those looking for low brow good value.
