Customer reviewGreat central location, decent rooms, scottish breakfast was good too! Only downside was the extremely uncomfortable bed - woke up with a sore back every morning. |

Customer reviewThe ladies were very friendly and very helpful! The food was great! The restrooms are shared, and very clean. There is a steep up-hill climb to reach the hotel unless you have a taxi/car which was difficult for my senior citizen mum. But, the inner city is actually located on some hills so one should expect that. If you rent a car be advised that there is NO FREE PARKING IN SCOTLAND. If you don't see the meter and thus don't pay for parking and put the ticket in your window, the parking tickets are 30 to 60 pounds. The blue sign with a white P, is the meter box. Take the time to find the meter. There is no street parking that does not cost in all of Scotland from Glasgow to the highlands of Inverness to Edinburgh from what I can tell. If you park a car, there is a meter. |

Customer reviewi loved my single room. had a tv, kettle, phone and basin. then i was told of the full scottish breakfast which i thought was fantastic! when i originally arrived though i thought it wasnt nice. reception just said 'name' and then explained breafast time and gave me a key and that was literally it! i had to go exploring myself and then i got lost coz the place is a maze! also the carpet in the main halls are disgusting, but the room itself was lovely. not a place to meet ppl and make friends though. |

Mary TellesIt's a very good value for the money. It was exactly what we were looking for. I double bed with private bath, decent sized room in a good location. It was clean and safe. Nothing too exciting but I just wanted somewhere quiet to sleep. |
