Liked: Rooms and windows were really big.

Disliked: Rooms were surprisingly pretty cold at night. Also, location wasn´t that great either. Didn´t feel too safe if I was making my way back late at night. Not exactly worth the price: find some place else that´s closer.

Liked: Excellent value for money, good breakfast, lovely helpful staff and awesome location near city centre

Liked: McLay's was extremely good value for money, and a stones throw away from all the shops, pubs and restaurants.

Disliked: The rooms came in all sorts of shapes and sizes, some being a large size, and some being very cosy. The showers, whilst clean, were very outdated, and the water only trickled out, but at least it was warm. Whilst we didn't use the wifi there, the "free wifi" was actually £2 for 30 minutes.

Liked: It was more hotel style than hostel style. Friendly reception and the included breakfast is very nice as its just one less thing you have to worry about.

Disliked: Turning the key in at reception everytime you leave the hostel is a bit of a hassel, but other than that I thought everything was great.

Liked: We had a great breakfast. As much as you could eat and very friendly staff.

Disliked: Slightly dated interiors, but that was also part of it's charm!

Liked: The location was great! Only one street away from all the bars, clubs, shops and restaurants. Its about 15 min walk from the bus station, which was also convenient.

Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: The extortionate internet cost - £2 for half an hour! Otherwise, nothing

Liked: helpful staff good hostel all in all have movies tv games stuff for when you just cant be bothered free toast coffee its the little things no comfortable hostel

Liked: It was more like a BnB than a hostel, rooms spacious with tea n coffee n tv, unlike hostel rooms, a pleasant surprise. Close to city centre and I felt very good value for money as good big breakfast included.

Disliked: Could do with a spot of decorating in the corridors!

Liked: It is very close to downtown, very accessible. Clean and comfortable. Had sink and mirror in the room.

Disliked: Near a night club that had loud music at late hours. Wireless internet was not reliable. Breakfast was too early.

Disliked: Amazing location, will deffinately be staying here again next time I visit Glasgow.

Liked: Excellent size and price! The rooms are really spacious with reasonably good facilities.

Disliked: Originally our first room was really cold, as it could not retain the heat. However, they put us into a warmer room. the only problem was a minor plumbing problem. Overall the last problem was acceptable.
