Liked: The Mclays is a very nice hostel, very cosy and clean. The room are spacious and comfortable, and you have everything you need. The staff is always there to help you 24/7. The breakfast are great. You're about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the city centre (along the way there's tons of restaurants), you're in the same street of the glasgow school of art, and 15 minutes walk from the main bus station. Recommended.

Liked: It was a good price for the room big room, breakfast was included and served at the table. And the staff war very friendly and helpful.

Liked: It had a very B&B feel to it, overall it was really great. Room was rather spacious and clean.The only one down side to it was it was situated a little bit out of town, about 10 minutes walk.

Liked: Good location, great rooms, clean, new towels everyday, great breakfast in the morning !24 h reception so no curfewno washing machines though :(

Liked: Very nice and cheap accommodation!! Great rooms, even with TV and tea pot:-) Great Scottish breakfast was also included! The only negative thing was the expensive price for the internet use..

Liked: The hostel is in the city center, is safe and very secure. The staff is helpfulness and the breakfast is very good.

Liked: slightly above average as far as hostels go. had a bit more of a hotel feel though. no bunk beds, instead there was more comfortable singles and doubles. staff were not very polite however.

Liked: the fact that they let us changed into a better room after the tv set in ours not working is very much welcomed. the staff geraldine and sarah (kitchen's staff) are very nice people and helpful. the room is spacious and clean but dont ask for ground floor room as it is very stuffy there. but overall it is an OK experience.furthermore,breakfast is superb!and for the elderlies try searching for another hotel unless u are coming there by a taxi,if not,it will be quite a climb for u. the area where the guesthouse is situated is on a steep hill.
