Liked: Really great place for anyone to stay in a city like Glasgow....Not located near the city centre...ut lots of places around to enjoy night life. We had a really comfortable and a cosy stay at this place. In fact it was more like a budget accommodation rather than a hostel. And the best part is that they serve a lovely Scottish breakfast. Great Value for Money

Liked: free breakfast, but i would stick to cereal. free wifi was convenient, but only worked in the dining room.

Liked: I had a very nice stay there. The location is great and the price is very reasonable and even include breakfast. The rooms are clean and not to small. There is one bathroom on a floor and it does not have shower but only bath-tub which was not very cool. I'm super pleased with the rest.

Liked: Nice breakfast as long as you like fatty food in the morning. Amazing location. Clean. Exactly what one should expect for 28 quid a night.

Liked: McLays Guest house was the perfect place to stay while we were in Glasgow. The staff did everything that they could to help us. the atmosphere was very friendly and the accomodation was exactly as described. Would recommend McLays to anyone wanting centrally situated accomodation that is great value for money.

Liked: Although it hasn't been renovated it years (except for the bathrooms), it is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Scottish breakfast is delicious. And the location is pretty good.

Liked: Location, Location, Location. The location was handy for walking to the train and shopping areas. We are a family of 6 so it was a good place to stay for our $$. The staff was fabulous. The rooms were OK. Breakfast was good. It was clean but a bit shabby.

Liked: It was impossible to sleep. An endless precession of people coming back from pubs and clubs continued loudly from 11pm-3am.

Liked: Fantastic breakfast, great character. I loved the place, and it really was one of the best hostel deals out there. The staff were nice, Wireless was free downstairs, and they definitely give you lots (tea in room, TV in room, full Scottish breakfast with beans, potato scones, egg, toast, tea, ham.) Thanks for the great hospitality!
