Liked: This hostel has a great location very close to the city centre and clubs. The common area is newly renovated as well, and the staff are very friendly! Theres also a very nice hostel dog to play with. The price was also great, couldn't find anything cheaper!!

Disliked: Only downside was the internet not working, but there was a library less than a block away with free internet, so it wasn't really a problem.

Liked: ...free Internet, that is really nice !!!

Disliked: I booked a twin bed room, but get an 4 Bed room, with no space at all. The toilets need a little bit more attention, and new seats !!! If you take a shower, there is no space at all, i.e. to change your cloth. Because it is used by male and female it is quiet disturbing.

Liked: The location was good. The hostel was in a dilapidated state. There should be an option to cancel after seeing the room with the 10% deposit foregone. Otherwise, its pointless to book beforehand. because u never know what you will get on arrival and you lose out on the whole amount.

Disliked: The whole infrastructure and the setup was very sad.

Liked: The staff is quirky and cool, the kitchen is great, location to the nice west end was good, and the place is clean. Fun place to chill out at night.

Disliked: Internet wasn't very reliable, and when we asked one of the staff on recommendations for things to do he suggested a lot of the "must-dos" but hadn't actually done any of them himself so couldn't really tell us much about them.

Liked: Location is the only thing this place has going for it.

Disliked: Pretty much everything.. the staff were not very helpful with simple things like directions and how long it takes to get from the hostel to west end for example, they are clueless. The room heater didn't work and it was cold! we informed staff but nothing was done about it. The receptionist was very unpleasent and never smiled. The internet NEVER works! very annoying when your trying to plan your next step. The Breakfast was crap- not enough stock, only marmalade for toast. Very dissapointing.

Liked: We loved staying here, it is a great hostel for meeting people and the staff are really friendly and sometimes do magic tricks. We loved the dog, the location and the free brekkie :D

Disliked: Not much but the showers were pretty average.

Liked: Really nice staff. Chill lounge to hang out in and meet people. Free internet! free breakfast in the morning. Good information for Glasgow. Musis, Pubs, Museums, Etc,

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast even when I checked out much earlier than breakfast time. Free internet is so useful.

Disliked: Room and bathroom are really small. It takes 20min to walk from bus station although accessible by bus.

Liked: The place was okay. Free breakfast was nice.

Disliked: The upstairs smelled like someone's decaying foot. My room smelled like funk and limburger cheese and I almost gagged the first day I arrived. I woke up with bites one night. I don't know if it's mosquitos or bedbugs. The lounge area is super tiny and not many places to sit down. The internet connection was non existent and about as reliable as the pull-out method.

Liked: Very cheap double rooms:-) Near to University-area (Glasgow school of art is just five minutes away), Free breakfast and nice staff.

Disliked: Bathrooms small, only one shower per floor and a not that clean. A bit far away from the city center (~20 minutes by foot from Buchanan bus station).

Liked: Great Atmosphere, really nice staff, great place to meet people and go out for a drink.

Disliked: There were no lockers for valuables so you just have to lock them in your bag in the dorm. They did lock up my laptop in a safe at reception though.

Liked: Free internet, sometimes free food. Kitchen available. Friendly staff/owner. Bouncer in evenings to make sure things don't get too crazy.

Disliked: Not in the city centre.
