Liked: Central location, friendly staff, good value for money.

Disliked: Bedroom was clean, bathroom, kitchen and other areas not very clean.

Liked: It's within walking distance of the city centre, pretty clean and easy to check-in & check-out.

Disliked: The area is very quiet at night and there are students at the dorm who were very noisy on sleeping hours.

Liked: The hostel was exactly as I was expecting - university accommodation. It was all very clean and safe. Not too much of a trek to get to the centre but there is a bit of a walk.

Disliked: (A very minor comment!!!) The shower itself is either scorching hot or freezing cold. Quite difficult to get it just right!

Liked: Cheap bed for the night with a shared self catering kitchen/lounge. A 20 minute walk from Central Station. Excellent for a night out in Glasgow city centre.

Disliked: If I wanted quality luxury accommodation I would have paid more elsewhere.

Liked: We were given free upgrade which includes a bathroom attached to our single rooms.

Disliked: If you are given a room on the 3rd floor, you will have to climb up the stairs with your heavy baggage. No tv in the room or even the common area. Have to buy internet cable instead of getting it on deposit loan or something.

Liked: The best thing about this hostel was the location - close to the bus and train stations and easy to walk from there to all central locations.

Disliked: The room was poor - very dirty carpet, sagging matress, tiny pillow, no sheets on bed when I arrived, bedside light not working and toilet not clean. The bed linen and new light bulb were swiftly provided when pointed out but it was a pleasant place to stay and I spent as little time in the room as I could.

Liked: I liked the area, close to centre, good transport connections. The room was well equiped and good size. The shared kitchen was dirty when I arrived, but eventually cleaned after a complaint. It was very good value.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Location ... it was 10min from everything.

Disliked: Not very clean. Limited facilities. Little noisy with people coming in and out.

Disliked: The bed sheet smelled like it had not been changed for quite some time, and because I arrived at night I could not get it changed.

Liked: Individual rooms with a bureau, shelves and space to hang your clothes.

Disliked: Guests have to clean the kitchen and the floor and table were usually dirty.

Liked: Individual bedroom very nice to have.Decent common living and kitchen area. Nice to have fridge for food and ability to cook.Close to downtown and shopping/pubs.. but far enough that not too noisy.

Disliked: No towels provided for showers.
