Liked: Comfortable beds, facilities like the pub.

Disliked: The shower was imposible! All the water came out of the shower reaching the room's carpet because it was so small.

Liked: The location was perfect. Right around the corner from the club we had tickets to. There is a kitchen available with stoves and a microwave so we could goto the supermarket and buy food instead of eating out. The pub downstairs was good fun. We accidentally booked bunk beds so the staff had no trouble with swapping us to a double bed for the next night. Much appreciated.

Disliked: There was old french fries, m&m's, water bottle and crisp packets underneath our bed. Considering it's a hostel, I wouldn't expect it to be perfect, but basic cleanliness should be a given.

Liked: Our double room was pretty good value, at only 5pounds more each than dorm beds. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, so cooking was easy. Breakfast is included, and was pretty standard. The location's great, the place is easy to find. Free wifi only in the bar, but works well. There aren't really many other places to stay in Glasgow, so I'd say this is your best option. And Glasgow itself is awesome, so it's worth it!

Disliked: There aren't any mixed-sex dorms, so we had to stay in a double, which worked out great for us anyway.

Disliked: Staff - not very friendly & helpful when there's a need from hostel guest. Our 1st night stay is not so peaceful and our door couldn't be latched.. There were so much noise beside our room. People were banging at our wall & then v heard scratching sound at our door. V dare not get out fr the room and there's no phone in the room to call for security. V asked for a room change the next morning cuz v have the whole week to bear. But the staff just told they can't change cuz it's fully booked. But v saw there's a few empty rooms on the same floor in the morning as people r checking out. V find that the staff did not try their best to make their guests to feel at ease during our stay. They should at least have a security rounding the building once every hour for the guests safety as there's a bar in the hostel and many youths around the area which might stir up a mess.

Liked: Good location. Helpful staff. Lugagge storage for only £1. Bar downstairs.

Disliked: The noise: thin walls let you hear music and loud talking next door. The building style isn't very cozy. Cards that aren't very reliable as keys.

Liked: Again had trouble with the hot water - so gave up on having a shower last time I had one ice cold - didn't want that again. So one was apparently urinating in the corner of the ensuit sinks floor between and 2-4am lights kept going on some people very in considerate. I realsise its a sharing dorm but some people! GOOD PRICE GOOD LOCATION

Liked: The staff were lovely and very helpful with good advice on where to go what to do and what to see. The rooms are decent and clean and the location is probably the best you will find in Glasgow with everything you will need within walking distance.

Disliked: The stupid door cards dont really work, I had to get mine re-programmed about 5 times and it never worked in the lifts which meant I took the stairs all the time rather than go through the hassle. This hostel has great facilities yet no one seems to use them, this is probably because Glasgow is a great city and everyone is out having fun! Free internet would be a great addition to this hostel!
