Liked: The beds were very comfy and the sheets were freshly cleaned, making the quality of sleep very good. The lounge was colourful and had a friendly atmosphere.

Disliked: The floor wasn't very clean and the bathroom door in room 6 doesn't lock (the lock is broken).

Liked: The location is OK to get around.

Disliked: If you have the chance to stay in another hostel in Glasgow - do so! The place is quite filthy. The carpet in the rooms is covered with tons of hair., which is quite disgusting. I traveled a lot all over the world and I know what to expect from a hostel, but this is clear way below average. In addition to that the stuff is rude and not helpful at all. Overall not recommended - better stay somewhere else. The only way to improve hostels like this is to "vote by your feet" and to avoid places like this until they have significantly improved cleanliness and friendliness.

Liked: The staff is usually helpfull and you can meet a lot of good people from around the world.

Liked: It is quite clean, is cheap, there are people from all over the world, they have free internet access from 8am to midnight and continental breakfast for free as well. They have a CCTV in operation 24/7 which is quite good and the area is quite safe with a lot of things to do and a lot of places for chilling out. And there is a Free Food Box in the kitchen. The staff is quite helpful.

Disliked: There are not lockers, sometimes the water is cold when you are in the middle of a shower, there is not wash machine. Someday somebody took some of my food and one of my towels dissapeared as well.

Liked: It is a really nice and warm place that it makes the travelers feel like home. The free breakfast and the free wireless internet is the best part of this hostel. Nice beds and hot water. A place that you should never miss if you visit Glasgow.

Disliked: It would be better if the kitchen and the commen area can run for 24 hours.

Liked: This hotel was very well situated, close to the university, which meant close to fun pubs and parks. The free computer access was useful, and there was rarely much wait to get it. There was a bathroom for each room which was nice, too. We thought being far from the center of glasgow would be bad but it was actually a much more interesting area than the center of town which was full of shops but not much else.

Disliked: Our room (number 14) was very cold and somewhat humid.

Liked: I really liked the atmosphere of the hostel, with frindly staff and nice people you can meet in the lounge or in the kitchen. It was a bit unconfortable to have only one bathroom for 10 people, but it was good value for the money we spent after all. Breakfast is nice, basic continental with cereals, toast, jam and milk, tea and coffee all day long. The location isn't too bad either, at some point we walked all the way to the centre of Glasgow and it didn't take us more than 40-45 minutes, which is quite convenient for a city like Glasgow.

Disliked: Irina-Elena left no negative feedback.

Liked: It's one of the best hostels I've stayed at, good atmosphere, helpful staff, clean and friendly.

Disliked: It's near a main road and can get some late night noise

Disliked: 6 beds crammed into a small room.. really small dorms. less then a foot of space between beds. Get what you pay for,.

Liked: Free Wifi was reliable and fast. Clean and tidy. Close to supermarket.

Liked: Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Pretty good location - next to a tube.

Disliked: Well, the hostel does need some cleaning. :-) If it is cleaned and renovated at least a little bit, it would become a great place to stay at while in Glasgow.

Liked: I liked that the beddings were very clean and beds were very comfortable. After busy walking days that's all you need!

Disliked: It was a bit cold in the room and the blankets were not warm enough, so i had to put on some clothes and pinch the spear blanket.

Liked: one plus: free wifi.

Disliked: minuses: the mattresses were the most uncomfortable thing i've slept on - all springs no padding, would rather sleep on the floor. the shower did not have a wall attachment so you had to hold the shower head yourself while you showered. there was a permanent giant wet patch on the floor of the tiny room. kitchen was way too small for the amount of people using it. locked door would open if you leaned on it hard enough.
