Liked: The old style of the staircases and panelling on the wall made it a majestic place to stay. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked: It was hard to find the hostel according to guide.So it would be nice to be specific, describing the point to drop off the bus.In fact I took a taxi at last. Lines were not chenged in my rooms. that was a shame. But another was no problem.

Liked: The building was absolutely beautiful! If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to relax and meet good people, then this is definitely the place to stay. The staff were fun and friendly, always willing to help no matter how silly the question. :-) I have to say, this was the best hostel I've stayed in. I'd definitely stay there again and recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Glasgow!

Liked: Great Location, decent rates, and staff very helpful. Unfortunate that the trip to my room (top floor) wiped me out - so many stairs and no lift! Could definitely be cleaner also - self catering area quite manky.

Liked: Very helpful receptionist, clean, good facilities , good location for Glasgow University and excellent value for money.I can't remember seeing any advertisments for HostelBookers but I may have missed them, I can't say for sure.I highly recommend this hostel.

Liked: Place is good but 20-25mins walk from rail station and town center. Have a copy of map to find the hostel. I was lost in the night.... :(

Liked: Was an ok stay. Nothing flash and certainly nothing to rave about. Would recommend to people just looking for somewhere to stay. Don't expect to have too much fun. Not for the young backpacker looking for somewhere to meet people etc. Was a fine hostel aside from the lack of atmosphere.

Liked: I really liked the lounge and the cooking/kitchen facilities. Also it was quite, which was a very important thing for us

Liked: The atmosphere was very friendly and it had great facilities. The trouble is that we cannot control who is sleepling in our room and sometimes people snore or come too late and make noise. Hostels are never the best choice to sleep well, but I resolved that using hear-plugs.
