Take Bus 44 (destination: Knightswood, Cowdenhill Rd) from Central Station or Bus 11 (destination: Parkhall) from Buchanan Galleries to the 1st stop on Woodlands Road. Follow signs up the hill.

By car:Driving from east (Edinburgh) on M8 take exit No. 18 Kelvingrove, Charing X and follow signs from there, driving from west (e.g. Glasgow Airport) on M8 take exit No. 17 (Dumbarton) bear left and follow the Aberfoyle road (A81), on the lights turn left and on the next lights turn right onto Woodlands Road, follow the sign to the Youth Hostel from there.
