"That they described themselves as honestly as possible on their website and that was a good basic selection of light breakfast food on offer in the morning."

About Ossians Hotel

It’s easy to say how good we are, but we are more honest. No flowery language, just the truth. We feel that if you accept a bit less, we’ll charge a bit less. More privacy and amenities than a bunkhouse or hostel, but not as formal as most hotels. To help you decide if we are right for you take a look below and decide for yourself.
IMPORTANT Please note that on Saturday our bar transform into the town Disco, 10pm till 3am. This is loud, and heard in the bedrooms, so please don't book if you need a quiet night.
Local staff, who are helpful and friendly.
Central location, in centre of the main street, next to shops, pubs, restaurants etc and close to public transport.

Accommodation Information

Ossians offers a mix of double, twin, single and family rooms, all en-suite, TV and tea tray. All bed linen and towels are supplied.
Family rooms can accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 children, or 3/4 adults.
Official check in is 3pm, but if you are arriving early (perhaps train or walking), just come in. If a room is ready you can get in straight away. If not, we can hold your luggage till it is ready.
Check out 11am.
Breakfast is available in our cafe.

Location Information

Town centre location, 5 minute walk from bus and trains, handy for shops and pubs and no taxi rides home.
100 metres from the end of the West Highland Way, so why wal further. You can be drinking your well earned pint in our bar while others are still trying to find where to stay.

Very close to the end of the West Highland Way. We are only 100m from the end of the way. (why walk any further - you pass our door on the way so you could be sitting with your well earned pint while others are still struggling with a back pack).

Restaurant with fantastic views, serving great home cooked meals, from just £6.

Free entry to Disco on Friday and Saturday nights (open till 2am). Peaceful bar on other evenings.

External architecture… Please don’t judge the book by the cover, 1960’s mixed with 1890‘s does not give the best design.
Inside, well, OK we’re a bit dated in places and well worn - adds to the character and charm.

Rooms vary in size but all come fully equipped.
