Àite Cruinnichidh is a warm, comfortable, friendly hostel in converted barn, set in stunning mountainous surroundings 15 miles north east of Fort William. As we live on site this is a very safe hostel.
It is an ideal location for walking, climbing, mountain biking canoeing with 7 rivers for paddling within 20 miles of Àite Cruinnichidh. There are extensive cycle routes nearby including the longest downhill mountain bike track in the UK. We can advise you on walking and cycle routes with maps available.
Additional features include SAUNA, en-suite family/double room, photographic dark room, seminar/conference room and reading/quiet room. All bedding is included. We also have a excellent self catering kitchen and drying room for all your wet clothes, tents etc.
We have a garden for outdoor games and family rooms.
We can also offer a 45 sq metre fully equipped meeting/seminar room for course work, slide shows or ceilidhs.
We will pick folk up from the train or bus in Roy Bridge when we can and if notified by phone- for this service, call prior to arrival. PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING THIS SERVICE FROM THE 23RD DECEMBER TO 3RD JANUARY.
We can lock up your gear and cycles if required. Outdoor activities such as Quad biking, cannoing, rafting, paint ball etc can be organised through Àite Cruinnichidh.
Unfortunately we cannot organise the weather!
Please also confirm 24 hours in advance that you are still coming otherwise you may lose your beds.
We do not accept credit cards and payment must be made by cheque or cash on arrival. We will accept euros. Please also remember to bring food with you as the nearest shop is two miles away.
