Liked: the vibe was good, comfy beds, clean and good showers. staff were very friendly and helpful. breaky was yummy but a bit pricey. cheap bar! great location.

Disliked: breakfast a tad expensive.

Liked: It was really good. The place, the atmosphere, the staffs everything was awesome. I am very particular about cleanliness and this hostel is definitely what I define clean. I can smell disinfectant everywhere.. awesome place!

Liked: Location was superb, off the main roads but within easy access of royal mile and princes street

Disliked: The noise in the morning from what I presume was street cleaners and rubbish collection at 7/8am Sunday.

Liked: Property was fine- Nothing overly special but nothing bad!

Disliked: Nothing - just big budget hostel style.

Liked: it's conveniently right in the middle of Old City Edinburgh, with the Edinburgh Castle and other entertainment spot within the walking distance.

Disliked: the beddings is a bit dirty and moldy, and it is way too noisy at night.

Liked: Very convenient location in Edinburgh old city. Friendly staff, EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD BREAKFAST MEALS

Liked: Great location and very clean! There's also a great bar in the basement with REALLY cheap food! Great value for your price! Great hostel, I would definitely recommend it!

Disliked: One drawback is there aren't any lockers with padlocks in the rooms, there are only lockers for rent on the ground floor. It would be nice to have had them in the rooms.

Liked: Bar 50 is pretty cool and the hostel was in a perfect location right where you want to be if its your first time visiting edinburgh.

Disliked: No sheets or towels, no internet

Liked: great price for great accommodations, clean, large, central, nice bar with good prices. over all one of the best places we stayed on our trip.

Liked: good location, friendly staff, bar with free wifi

Disliked: no wifi in the rooms, and free breakfast would go a long way.

Liked: It has a very nice structure and facilities. Very Good location at old town.

Disliked: it's so big it almost doesn't feel like a hostel. It does have a nice atmosphere but it sure lacks character. I think it's probably a good idea for longer stays (nice facilities) but if I ever come back to edinburgh (i sure hope so, what a beautiful city) I may try someting smaller with more character.

Disliked: the pillows, and lack of towel rails and bedside lights..but thats been super picky!

Liked: Good location and friendly staff. Breakfast was also great!!

Disliked: The staff could have some more knowledge about the city. They had a hard time with recommending a descent football pub, and when we went clubbing we were recommend at place were the majority was underage and vomiting.

Liked: It was right in the middle of the Fringe area. Also close to the Castle and Hollyroot. Also it had a good breakfast.

Disliked: There were very few dishes in the kitchen or cups.

Liked: The location is great!

Disliked: The lock in the toilet in my room is very problematic. I was locked inside the toilet once. There are no rubbish bins in the room, and no hand washing gel in the toilet. The cleaner never refill the empty washing gel box.
