The hostel asks guests to take off their shoes and put on the provided flip-flop. That allows everyone to enjoy the clean bathrooms.
Overview
Light House Hostel is a unique boutique house hostel in a historical 200 year old stunning house. A truly traditional Scottish Music and Art hostel in the art heart centre of Edinburgh. We are a family run hostel and welcome family bookings. A cosy 'home from home' for single travellers, families and groups.
Free complimentary breakfast, free tea and coffee, free high speed Wi-Fi, free desktop computer for internet access, free lockers in the rooms, free towels.
We have a home cinema and the house is really spectacular!! More privacy than other hostels as we only accommodate maximum of 24 guests. We are a family focused hostel and guarantee everyone a good nights sleep and cleanliness is very important to us.
Accommodation Information
There are four guest bedrooms in total: two 4/5-bed mixed rooms and two 6/7-bed mixed rooms.
There is a double bed for couples and families in each of the rooms.
Location Information
The Light House Hostel is a large Georgian Townhouse in a very artistic neighbourhood of Edinburgh. We are close to Edinburgh's two art house cinemas, the best theatres and only 10 minutes walk from the Castle.
King's Theatre / Haymarket Railway Station / Castle / Grassmarket - Light House is close to everything really, really, really!!!
