The best thing about the hostel that I enjoyed was the Sunday dinner that happens weekly. I just got a great sense of pride and loyalty when a lot of the old Brodies 93 members came back for the dinner. It reminded me of a great sense of family away from home.

The homely atmosphere created by the long stay people. They were all really friendly and made me feel really welcome

Brodies was cheap and good accommodation. However I found that the atmosphere was quite exclusive, due to the groups of live-ins that had been formed. Otherwise it was good.
