Julia OssenbrueggeThe location is great, in summer you can either sit in the garden in this nice area or just walk 2 minutes and sit in the meadows. The staff is really nice and gives excellent advice on where to go! The hostel is very nicely decorated with big livingroom and kitchen, not one of those hostels which look like hospitals. Can't think of a better place to stay in edinburgh. |

Customer reviewThe location was brilliant, just a short walk to the royal mile and the room was lovely. Although it was small, it was very clean as were the bathrooms. |

Customer reviewEasy walk to the city, nice lounge and kitchen areas, clean, bright, but small rooms. The only negative thing was that reception closes at 10pm! Meaning it's not the best place to stay if you're on a short weekend trip on a flight arriving after you've done a days work. |

Customer reviewThis is an excellent place if you're looking for a relaxing, quiet atmosphere that will make you feel at home. Definitely clean (they even changed our sheets after the first 3 nights), and the equipment was pretty amazing (both oven and microwave, TV in the room, towels provided, very good cutlery in the kitchen, little things like labels and boxes for your food, etc.). Also, crossing the Meadows every day to go into town was really nice in good weather - otherwise, there's a bus stop just around the corner. I would definitely recommend this hostel. |

Customer reviewThe staff were really friendly and helpful. It was right by a bunch of shops which was useful for getting food in the mornings and stuff, as well as being just a short walk through the medows to get to the main part of town! |
