Great location, has interesting people staying there, instead of all-night clubbers and pissheads. Quite a few long termers but they welcome the short-termers into their group, almost a family feel to it.

Staying at this hostel was like staying at the house of a crazy friend...only he wasn't there and had left a load of other people lying around, the atmostphere was really comfortable and easy going, really child friendly, great location....it was brilliant

It was very close to the center but not in it. Very quiet and peaceful place, close to a big park. Very friendly staff. Small and familiar. You could sleep, as the other people in the hostel were not feasting and were very repectful.

Fabulous location, easily accessible, and very friendly staff. The kitchen space and back garden were very comfortable and provided and excellent little escape from the city. The Argyle is also very quiet, and the guests were a mix of young and old - very enjoyable, great value for the money.

They did our laundry a& took it up to our room!! Towels were included. Helpful staff except they do NOT open until 9 am.

Great location just out of the city centre by the 'Meadows' park - quiet area, but not too far to walk at all. Excellent convenience stores across the road. There's a cash machine 5 mins away from the hostel, which can be useful. Internet access was well priced and the 15 free mins is a good idea. Our bedroom (no. 7, a private double) was clean and basic. Bathrooms were well kept and well distributed around the hostel. Overall, a great place to stay - ideal for those wanting a B&B but without B&B prices.

Cute. BUT BRING EARPLUGS - room next to bathroom = need for earplugs (if you plan to sleep there).
