Liked: The sun room off the kitchen is a beautiful place to have meals. It was a bit of a walk to the city, but I never minded because a lot of it was through the park.

Liked: Nice rooms and very good kitchen. The internet you have to pay for but very clean and spacious showers. A little bit away from the centre of town but a easy walk away also very quiet.

Liked: Very disappointed that our room fees were not waived after we got into a car accident and were unable to make our booking for August 17th, as this is a high revenue time of year for Edinburgh hoteliers and likely would not have put them out greatly.

Liked: I think some of the beds are too cheap. As I was sleeping, whenver someone open the door, my whole bed shaked and I woke up. I had stayed several hostels in this trip but the bed at this hotel was not that great.

Liked: the staff were exceptionally friendly.its a short stroll to the city, but its a beautiful walk..the only thing negative was that the night before i checked out, one of the toilet's roof had collapsed in on itself, luckily no-one was hurt!!

Liked: We would definitely recommend this place to others and already have!!!! We stayed at approx 10 hostels along our travels and would have to say this one was the best. It is walking distance to the main areas of where you want to be, the hostel itself is clean and the staff are super friendly. The internet wasnt working when we were there so the guy at the front desk let us use his laptop at the owners house...that was so nice!!! There are 2 kitchens with everything you need to you can get groceries and cook meals...we saved alot of money doing this :O) There is Tv room to hang out in and laundry service. If you go to Edinburgh, you must stay here.

Liked: The location was great a short but beautiful walk into the city was great. I loved the staff, helpful and friendly beyond measure. I will stay here next time and direct all my traveling friends to this great place.
