Liked: I was only in Edinburgh for the night meeting up with friends for a birthday party and needed somwehere cheap to rest my head at the end of the evening, so didn't get any time to use most of the available facilities but it seemed a friendly place that I would stay in again if I am in Edinburgh.

Liked: great location, very clean, warm/homely, good place to meet pple as well as get some sleep - if was busy might be a bit short of bathrooms though....

Liked: Very clean , in a nice location near the Meadows which is only 15 minutes from the City centre on foot .. staff very friendly, bathrooms spotless, I got good wifi on my laptop and the room I stayed in was very warm and cosy..

Liked: A nice, clean and quiet hostel with some friendly people. However, a bit far from the action, the beds were shaky and the showers were a pain.

Liked: Safe and nice, but not clean. The shared bathroom never cleaned during our stay...Not very quite to sleep in the room beside the bathroom (noise and light)

Liked: Staff are friendly and helpful. Hostel is well run and really quiet, which is great for getting a good night sleep!

Liked: Nice place, room was lovely but bed was mega squeaky. Very homey and friendly place, staff were nice and kitchen was very well equipped. Would have appreciated instant coffee for us philistines who don't know how to make filter coffee!! Location is a very cool area but a bit of a trek from the station, the park nearby is gorgeous and if the weather's nice is full of entertaining people!

Liked: Good clean tidy hostel. Quiet with good chill out areas. Bout 15 min walk into town which can be annoying, we had to walk around with our bags on the last day as it wasn't worth going back to the hostel to get them. No breakfast either so prepare for that but good full kitchen for cooking. Yummy thai takeaways just opposite the hostel.

Liked: it is the nicest hostel i ever stayed in, very friendly, personal and relaxed. it was like staying in a family and the kitchen is not only just a microwave with a few plates, it is a large place, provides everything... (somethimes even more :-) )(The hostel consists of several houses, I stayed at house no. 4)
