City break

Liked: Loved the location. Only 15 mins to town by bus to the Royal Mile - door to door. Great. Loved the arrival time as we could leave our bags free of charge from 10am the day that we checked in. Staff lovely and breakfast great. Very clean. Great value for money (spent more on the evening meal than we did here). So it was a bargain.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Breakfast

Disliked: Many thinks : The room was close to the breakfast room, that begins at 08:00, therefore, we could not sleep after. The first thing that told us the manager manners when we arrived, was that we have to pay, with bad manners. After suffer the noise of the breakfast, they repeat us three times that we have to leave the hotel at 10:00, we get out at 10:05, and they were very bad manner saying that we are getting out late.

Liked: I liked the cleanliness (I could say it was excessively clean, almost an operating room), the breakfast was very good, exactly like it's described.

Disliked: It is too far away from the city, the explanation to get there wasn't useful (not even the neigbours knew how to get there). In the description says you can arrive there at any time, wich is not true, you have to specify even the second you'll get there. Other thing that I did not like was the fact that the dining room is closed during the day, so the only place you have to stay there is the room, where it is not allowed to eat. I think that this hostel is useful for those people that have a car and want to be in a very calm environment and have enough money to go to a restaurant. By the way, tehere are not restorants nearby.

Liked: Very nice guesthouse, opportunity to experience the traditional Scottish style of architecture, breakfast, etc

Disliked: A little far from the city centre, but there frequent buses that get you there in a few minutes - the bus stop is right in front of the guesthouse.

Liked: A great wee guest house located just a short bus ride from central Edinburgh. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and the park over the road served as a great spot for a touch of travel rugby. Highly recommended for the travelling couple or late 20's small group

Disliked: The breakfast time was just a little too early. But thats getting picky.
