The Grassmarket Hotel occupies a key location in Edinburgh city centre, located in the historic Grassmarket area, only two minutes walk from The Royal Mile. With such attractions as Ghost Tours, Greyfriars Bobby and The National museum of Scotland, you will not be short of things to do during your stay in Edinburgh.

The Grassmarket Hotel consists of 45 en-suite bedrooms of a 2 star standard, each offering television, hairdryer, telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.

The budget hotel operates on a room only basis, however, in the morning a Full Scottish breakfast is available in Biddy Mulligans Pub, which served by our friendly staff, combine to form a great start to any day in Edinburgh.

Biddy Mulligans Pub is the perfect place to enjoy Edinburgh's social scene. With an Irish theme and a lively, fun atmosphere offering a wide range of drinks and an extensive daily food menu. Playing host to a range of live music with local bands and musicians taking centre stage seven nights a week, Biddy Mulligans is also any true sports fans destination to watch their favourite event with live coverage of all major sporting events.

Edinburgh Waverley train station is five minutes walk away from the hotel and Edinburgh airport only 7 miles making transport links very easy and accessible. Due to our central location, parking is not available, however discounted daily and overnight parking rates have been negotiated with NCP Castle Terrace car park, a mere 5 minute walk from the hotel.
