Liked: location- perfect. good well equipped kitchen

Disliked: not enough bathrooms. One male shower room for whole building and one other single toilet. Asked for photo ID on arrival which seemed odd as I'm a Brit. Never been asked in London so i don't carry it. They were ok in the end but seems a bit of an arsey rule.

Liked: Location was awesome! Ten seconds from the Mile and just minutes from everything else you'll want to see.

Disliked: Kitchen's kinda small and there always wasn't a lot of space to sit in the common room... but this is minor. I think I was there when this giant group of people were and we always were in those places at the same time.

Liked: It was in a nice location with lots of restaurants and shops around.

Disliked: The bathroom wasn't the greatest. Toilets always clogged up and it was hard to flush toilet paper down the toilet. There is no changing space for the showers. You had to leave your clothes outside of the shower and reach for them after you were done and just hoped that no one would see you naked. Also no ladders for the bunk beds.

Liked: Good value and pretty clean, although the communal areas are not great! It definitely did the job, however, because of the great location.

Liked: It is in the heart of Edinburgh situated next to various pubs and as such it is extremely noisey and uncomfortable if you are looking to get some sleep before 3am.

Liked: The staff and location were the only redeeming qualities. There were no lockers and no locks on the doors though my stuff did remain safe, but its not a good peace of mind when travelling.
