Liked: Really helpful staff, especially dee, comfty rooms and within walking distance of the city centre.

Disliked: The kitchen is a little cramped, but at that price who cares.

Liked: this hostel is awerosome. one of the best i have been ever. absolutely recomended

Liked: Very clean and helpful staff. It didn't get very noisy and the location was very close to the city centre!

Disliked: We were required to give a 10 pounds deposit but it didn't state that anywhere on the site. The breakfast was also rather poor considering we paid 2 pounds for it; it was only some cereal and toast.

Liked: It was easy to find and we were greeted very warmly at our arrival.

Disliked: A little far from the city center, but well within walking distance.

Liked: It was cheap, you could get a train that stop about 20 meters outside, they had wireless internet and it was 10 minute walk from town

Disliked: the main reception was closed at 11, the kitchen closed at 10, there was very few toilets and showers, there was little room in the fridge and no freezer, the kitchen area could be bigger

Liked: It was pretty close to the Royal Mile and really easy to find.

Disliked: There are no plugs in the rooms.

Liked: Great price and location, modern and clean with friendly staff.

Disliked: No plug sockets (that we could find) in the rooms and one of the showers didn't work. Still well worth the stay though.

Liked: Nice Staff. Very Helpful.

Disliked: Not really clean - just one bathroom with three showers and two toilets for a whole floor. Not allowed to drink or eat at the rooms ( i can understand, that alcohol on the room ist prohibited, but drinking some water should be allowed).

Liked: Great place! Good location, SUPER CHEAP, friendly staff, free TV and WiFi etc... recommended to anyone.

Disliked: can't think of anything... the reception is not open 24h. So you shouldn't forget your key when going out at night...

Liked: This was my first time staying at a hostel, i tend to book hotels, However i was travelling on a budget and i will definately book a hostel again. Obviously i had my concerns as you do when staying at a hotel. However the staff could not have been more helpful and the building was clean and tidy.

Disliked: It was a little far from the royal mile. However the hostel is on a main bus route and buses are very regular and cheap only £1.20 for a single journey no matter how far you travel!

Liked: Good value for the money

Disliked: Rooms were cramped. Too much beds fitted. Beds were "noisy", you couldn't roll inside the bed without making squeaky sounds.

Liked: room was clean and really comfy, and the showers were better than the ones from the other hostels were i stayed during my trip

Disliked: the room was really cold and it was located very far away from the city centre. staff wasnt friendly at all, and it wasn't a great place to make friends.

Liked: Just across the road from Haymarket train station.

Disliked: The noise and other inconsiderate habits of others using the hostel.

Liked: Stuff was really kind and helpful.Atmosphere is also good and people were funny.It's close to city center.It's just 10 minutes to Princess Street by walk.

Disliked: Rooms were really cold.Heaters was not working.
