Liked: It was clean enough.

Disliked: The shower room. We have to share with everybody so it dosent matter if Im man or woman.

Liked: Good hostel,not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Princes Street..actually I think that are missing wee features of character,necessary to make an hostel great and not only a good one..anyway the vibe of the Fringe Festival is amazing,and the lovely Edinburgh is definitely a must for any traveler..

Liked: The hostel was very safe and you felt welcome.

Disliked: On the website they should make it clearer that you have to show some proof of identity on arrival

Disliked: The toilets, too small. The blankets that seem for some of them suspect.

Liked: Really excellant location opposite Haymarket Station but no noise at all at night. Really nice and fresh and clean. Lounge room was great.

Disliked: Perhaps more toilet/showers would be an idea but not to big a problem for me as no rush.

Liked: the room is quiet, clean and spacious.

Disliked: it is said it is a tripple room but the fact is it provides a single room, a double room and a mattress.

Liked: great atmosphere, nice and friendly people from staff, good facilities

Liked: Reception area is nice, and the rooms are set apart from the reception area which makes it quieter when you are trying to sleep.

Disliked: The rooms were cramped, especially in terms of space for luggage and the showers were a little dirty.

Liked: Decent location to the centre of Edinburgh; breakfast was only a pound, but was lacking (only white bread and cereal). The hostel was very clean, except for the plugged showers in the tiny bathrooms.

Disliked: Too many rules for anything and everything! Our key card was flimsy enough to snap off in the door lock, but we still were charged for it; no eating drinking in the rooms; kitchen is closed past 10pm, so no late snacks or even access to water; lounge is closed in the evenings; reception doesn't open until 8am, so don't bother getting on your way very early!

Liked: Very clean place and the kitchen is excellent. Fully equipped, new, and it even has ovens. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: The mattresses are a little old.

Liked: It is near everything! Plus, it's clean and very comfortable. The staff is really nice as well.

Disliked: It'll take a bit of a walk to get to the center of the city, but it's not too far really.

Disliked: kitchen and common areas closed after 23, very little place in the dorms to put luggage
